Just because you and your family enjoyed prosperity and plenty during the Marcos dictatorship doesn't mean that IT WAS EXACTLY THE FUCKING SAME FOR EVERYONE ELSE.

You know what that's called? PRIVILEGE.

I was just as lucky. I am just thankful that we WERE that lucky but I know DAMN WELL THAT OTHER PEOPLE SUFFERED.

That we were, in fact, a privileged few.

So it doesn't stop me from recognizing evil, for wanting justice for those who were denied it, for CHERISHING MY FREEDOM to speak plainly about my views without being afraid of torture and a convenient disappearance.
