Probably one of the more heathy relationships of the glory days, but not particularly known by the other supers let alone the NSA or public. Before the ban they half broke up because they knew it was getting risky and the lawsuits were pilling up with the both of them. Hypershock threw himself into a relationship with a woman he didn’t love, had 2 kids and 1 miscarriage, and 1 divorce that was going to happen sooner rather than later. Universal man look years to even try and find another partner, and he did, only for a little though, they broke up with to her being unknowingly pregnant, and she had his kid without him knowing. When they do mean again it is only in the face of harm and Universal man letting himself be ‘killed’ by Syndrome.
