it's the sequel to my all-time favorite anime/manga, ginga nagareboshi gin.
you really wouldn't be getting yourself into much. ginga nagareboshi gin was adapted into 21 anime episodes in the 1980s and then ginga densetsu weed was made into 26 (very poorly done) anime episodes in the mid 2000s. a basic plot synopsis would be 'fighting muscle dogs with too strong of a sense of justice'.
