Sometimes before it ends you, you've got to end the war... Tomorrow we share the details of the 10th @antiflag record on the cusp of 25yrs of the band and personally my 20th. The strength and optimism I have gained from being a part of this band and the community that surrounds it is indescribable. Every time I have felt lost, alone, or as if the deck was stacked too high; the activism, the art, the empathy always win. With this record we document 4 kids from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania who still believe. Believe in the awakening of those silent. Believe in the challenge to the status quo of division. And more than ever believe in the quest to find solace in the community of social and economic justice. Tomorrow will be like every other day. We will collectively struggle and fight to find ways to make ourselves and others feel free. But starting tomorrow, the soundtrack gets a bit larger.
