Karbach’s Hopadillo on tap at the United Lounge at IAH. A 3 of 4. Quite caramel-y and malty, but delivers a nice herbal and orange citrus hop quality in the body. Nicely bitter in the finish, and quite easy-drinking.

Budweiser on tap at the United Lounge at LAX. A 2 of 4. When it’s free, it’s hard to complain about. Yet, there are many complaints here -- smells mostly of sweet grain and adjunct notes. Drinks with the same sweetness and not much else, except for a faint herbal/skunky quality in the finish. There are far better light lagers out there, but it’s hard to argue with a free beer.
