already establishing my leadership in the university group chat by breaking the overwhelming awkward silence with a beer inquiry

sometimes you have a normal one in uni and sometimes you hear "popular culture holds up a facade of being made for people by people, but in reality it is heavily dominated by the middle class with little to no lower class representation. It is being commercialized and sold to the lower class to inspire consumerism and profit, whilst generating a feeling of middle-class consumption. While the lower class is responsible for a lot of what we know as popular culture, whatever they create eventually gets snatched and sold as a product (i.e. punk clothing being sold for being fashionable and "esthetic" whilst not upholding any of the anti-system values the movement represented)" and the whole thing is being very gently fed into your ears bc the professor is sick and he cannot utter a sound louder than a whisper so he blasts his ASMR to the microphone

can't wait for a list of students to be posted so that I can meet my new group mates. terrified. and what if they like.... anime.... or some other weird dumb shit

I'm quitting uni

some people on uni group have one (1) short philosophy paper to write based on a text and they are whining that it has hard words and they cannot muster up 500 words bc it's literally about nothing. they will not survive.
