In my unit response I discuss how people gravitate to what they are familiar and more comfortable with when it comes to technology. So even though when Bing was introduced the the market it was aesthetically better and in blind tests customers chose Bing results over Google, people still prefer Google as their search engine because that is what they are used to.  

Facebook ads are tailoring the needs of its users, which is a privacy issue. 

In my unit response I discuss how in the United States, Google as a brand has become a cultural commodity and a part of every day life, its prevalence has cultivated its own social terminology even landing it a definition in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary.

This site shows the problems that Facebok creates with its privacy issues and how they are continuing to rise. 

This video discuss how Google Plus works. It also discusses how Google Plus makes things more private because you can share things with only certain circles and now with all your friends. 

This is example of a Google Plus hangout. This shows a networked community called The Seahorses communicating with actors from the shows they love. It shows that a network can blur the relationship between  fans and creators, and allows more interconnectedness, and also shows how the internet shapes the kind of conversations that people are allowed to have online.
