Union J - Loving You Is Easy

It was an dream come true to be interviewed by Sir Ian McKellen and to be the cover of this months issue of Gay Times. Hero to so many, coupled with the legendary magazine I was wrongly afraid of loving growing up. I was in fear of judgement and abuse that I so often witnessed, but learnt that it’s okay to be, however and whoever you want to be, that you’re accepted, and you’re protected. It took a little time and a lot of tears to work out and find comfort, but that’s okay. Your path is your path. Little me would be proud that in the fight with fear, we kicked it’s butt. Big me knows the fights never over, and if one person is less frightened by knowing that the place they are in is familiar to so many people, including me, I’m proud to share. The opportunity to speak is appreciated beyond words.

A big thank you to @loosewomen for having us today. It felt good to be back with the boys and on TV again — hope you all enjoyed watching the interview ❤️
