Usually we start by designing a character, then its univers with elements and companions, and finally we create a product. And when the character and its universe are quite mature, we try to put it on more goods :-) .. With this challenge, we changed our point of view, thinking of templating the designs in a way that they could fit many products: the same design could be printed on a t-shirt, on a phone case or on a bathroom carpet :D .. Habituellement, nous commençons par concevoir un personnage, puis son univers avec des éléments et des compagnons, et enfin nous créons un produit. Et quand le personnage et son univers sont assez matures, on essaie de le mettre sur plus de produits dérivés :-) .. Avec ce défi, nous avons changé notre point de vue, en pensant à modeler les designs de manière à ce qu'ils puissent s'adapter à de nombreux produits : le même design pourrait être imprimé sur un t-shirt, sur une coque de téléphone ou sur un tapis de salle de bain :D .. We expected making design everyday, a bit like we are used to...the main difference, we thought, it is the theme which is imposed. .. En fait, lorsque nous avons commencé ce défi, nous ne savions pas du tout ce qui allait se passer réellement. On s'attendait à faire 1 design par jour, un peu comme on en a l'habitude ... la principale différence, pensions-nous, c'est le thème qui est imposé. .. Donc, un défi sur Instagram pourrait-il vraiment apporter de nouvelles choses dans notre travail quotidien de designer ? Après 2 semaines, la réponse est "oui, définitivement !" ..
