You were sitting in between Ungjae’s legs as he sat in a chair and did your hair. The spring sun was shinning through the window and you watched the birds hop across the yard as your comb gently ran through your hair. The teeth tickled your scalp and you giggled. “What’s funny?” Ungjae asked swiping the hair in the front of your face out of the way. “Nothing, it just tickles.” You giggled again as Ungjae’s gentle touches caused goosebumps to appear on your arms. Ungjae just chuckled as he continued. “What style are you putting it in to today?” You asked with a smile.

As of recent Ungjae had been styling your hair whenever you went out and all week he’s been taking you to different places; there was a picnic at the park, the bookstore, a cafe, the beach and the amusement park. He’s recently really been into styling your hair, you couldn’t figure out why but you loved it nonetheless. He was always watching tutorials online for different braids and he’s already mastered the French and Dutch braid. Any time you find a new style on Pinterest you add it to your collection to send to him later. You absolutely adore how excited he gets when he sees them. You love being his guinea pig for hairstyles and they always turn out perfect. “I’m gonna try a fishtail today.” He said running the comb one more time through your hair before setting it down. “Will you be able to do it, the fishtail looks pretty difficult.” You ask turning to face him as much as you can, for being stuck in between his legs. He already had the hairband in between his lips and was ready but he stopped and sighed taking the small band out. “Babyyy~” He cooed. “You have to sit still. Now your hair’s a mess and I have to brush it again.” You giggled at his pouting. “I’m sorry. I’ll sit still.”

You turned back and watched a squirrel run across the grass and stop in front of the big glass window, almost as if it was watching you. You smiled at it and it ran on by. You wanted to watch Ungjae do your hair but there was no mirror around so you just closed your eyes and relaxed against his legs feeling his fingers separate your hair into sections. Usually when Ungjae did your hair he would use a comb to help part your hair into sections. He was very serious when it came do doing your hair or makeup. You were his canvas and he wanted every masterpiece to be perfect. He hummed to himself as he progressed on your hair, his fingers and the tip of the comb working quickly, gently and effortlessly. “Shcoot fworward a bit.” Ungjae asked, hairband in his mouth causing his words to come out funny. You giggled and did as he said so he could get to the ends of your hair. You heard him shuffling around behind you and things being moved and you wondered what he was doing.

“Alright, finished.” Ungjae helped you to your feet and led you into the bathroom, a big smile on his face. Turning the light on you looked at your hair in the mirror and smiled. Ungjae had put small pearl beads throughout your hair and the hairband at the bottom was covered up by a thick light blue ribbon that matched your sundress. “Ungjae, it’s so pretty oh my god.” You exclaimed turning in the mirror to see more of your hair. You couldn’t help but smile at Ungjae’s work. “You make every hairstyle so pretty.” You said grabbing his hands. Ungjae smiled at you and brought his soft lips up to yours. Then he quickly pulled away, “Wait, I forgot something!” He exclaims and runs out of the bathroom, his bare feet pounding against the hardwood floor. You laugh out loud and turn back to look at your hair in the mirror.
