How many groups you stan and what are those groups?

I had no clue that “stan” was a word... but anyway, the two boy bands I love and follow a lot right now are BTS and EXO. Other ones (some of which I listened to more in the past) include: B1A4, B2ST, B.A.P, BIGBANG, INFINITE, NU’EST, SHINee, Super Junior, VIXX. Girl bands: f(x).

Who are your biases?

I recently started paying attention to individual members in these bands (used to just listen to them on iTunes/iHeartRadio without getting to know them), so I don’t have that many right now, but here’s the list at the moment: Jimin and J-Hope (BTS), Lay (EXO), Henry (Super Junior-M), Minho (SHINee), N and Leo (VIXX), Ren (NU’EST), Amber (f(x)).

Your most favorite fan fiction?

Last read in middle school, and it was on anime/manga, not k-pop. I don’t remember very well.

Your most favorite korean film?

200 Pounds of Beauty was funny. I watch a lot more korean dramas than I do korean films though.

Your most favorite drama (korean or japanese)?

Healer or Heartless City, can’t decide.

Your most favorite book (in general obviously)?

The most recent one is John Green’s Fault in Our Stars. My childhood favorite was Tamora Pierce’s Alanna series.

What things changed after you discovered kpop?

Have been listening to k-pop on and off since middle school (I’m a rising college junior now). I think I’ve completely given up listening to English music since I’ve been listening to k-pop non-stop for about three years. More recently, I’ve been obsessed with looking at YouTube videos of k-pop bands when they’re off-stage. I think it’s becoming unhealthy...

Favorite ultimate bias’s body part?

Smile + eyes.

Want to preface this by saying that I was exposed to kpop/kdrama culture since I was young, but only started to get into it more since middle school and have had in and out phases since then (but I think it’s permanent now cause it’s been a few years since I’ve stuck to this). Answers may not be accurate... because my memory sucks. Also, I wasn’t obsessed with getting to know all the singers in the kpop groups when I first began listening to kpop so some info is going to be from more recent times (when I started paying attention to their names).

1) First kpop song you ever heard: I honestly can’t remember... I just went back into my iTunes library to see what was the first k-pop album I downloaded (excluding soundtracks from kdramas) and it was 2:00PM Time For Change by 2PM. I’m surprised since I don’t think I’ve listened to them since high school. I’m sure I was introduced to kpop long before I downloaded songs to iTunes though so I don’t know what my first song was.

2) First kpop group you liked: SHINee

3) First ever bias: Minho (probably because of watching To the Beautiful You)

4) Current bias: for guys -- Henry from Super Junior-M or Lay from EXO (getting into BTS though more recently but not sure who my bias is from that group yet). for girls -- Amber from f(x)

5) Song you know all the words to: Uhhhh, my ability to speak in/repeat Korean is very, very poor. That being said... maybe most of Taeyang’s “Wedding Dress”? Might be more humming though LOL. Or maybe Henry’s “Trap”.

7) Favourite boy group: EXO (at the moment)... but it’s pretty much split between EXO, VIXX, BTS...

8) Favourite solo artist: Agreeing with Lynsy that K.Will is good... a bunch of my favorite solo artists atm are also in group bands so not sure if that would count.

9) Favourite dance: I only got around to watching a lot of music videos recently... D: I really like Henry’s dancing in his solo song “Trap” though. Oh, now that I think of it there’s this one part in EXO’s “Call Me Baby” I really enjoy.

10) First kdrama: Most likely Full House/Full House Take 2. (I thought it was either City Hunter--introduced by my best friend in 8th/9th grade or Jumong--watched with my entire family summer after 9th grade, but I thought about it and remembered watching Full House in Taiwan with my older and younger sisters when I was really young.)
