i get that it is impossible to pretend we are all happy with what we all do, and sometimes, it is hard to smile and bear through seeing things you don’t agree with.content you don’t like seeing on your dashboard, friends rping with folks you had spats with, people just being people.

it’s hard.

but, is it REALLY worth grabbing your torches and pitchforks to go on witch hunts because of something you didn’t like?this isn’t to say you have to play pretend that everything is rainbows and sunshine and hold your tongue--no.it is your blog, and if you want to write a ten page rant on how you dislike the usage of the word ‘bluenette’ in writing, go ahead!that is your liberty, and you are MORE than free to express your frustrations with something other people may enjoy... on YOUR blog.

don’t go trying to police those people on their own blogs, on their own dashboards.

How long had it been again? A week? A month? A lifetime? How many more days would she wake up, thinking in some part of her mind and heart that it was all a dream? That they were still there. That everything was still okay. That her world was exactly how it was before it tore apart. She’d wake up, and his lavender hair, a mess as usual, would great her. They’d argue over something stupid. Meowth would tell them to shut up. They’d fight some more. 

Her fingers gripped the comforter she had been generously given to call her own, though she wasn’t entirely sure how long she’d want to take advantage of this kindness. But she wanted it today. Just for today, she would say. It was always just for today. She pulled the sheet over her head, hiding underneath it from the world on the outside. She was alone. 

Again. Why did it hurt so much more this time? Nothing was different. Nothing changed. She had even lost James before. But it didn’t hurt like this. 

There’s something to be said about relatively traumatic and life-altering situations. One of them was that your body ends up on auto-pilot more than one should be comfortable admitting. She came back to herself as she was holding her body close, walking through the lab she had broken into before, going for the coffee she would pour and never get around to drinking. 

Her red hair short and cupping her face, her make-up missing. The small kitchen was easy enough to get to. She was alone this time, which was more than good enough for her. She wasn’t sure where the professor was. She had heard vaguely about the twerp being around and maybe some of the others. 

“Hey, Misty! I’ve got you something!” He exclaims, holding out a box of chocolates. Ash was thoughtful enough to send them to him during his travels abroad, since Tracey couldn’t physically get them himself. What he doesn’t know, however, is that they’ve actually got peppers inside. He’s completely being used as a casualty in some elaborate prank war and is too much of a gullible fool to realize it.
