My color of the year for 2016 seems to be these soft ocean tones (in large part to @gnomeangel and the #fqs1930farmerswife QAL!). These fussy cut 6" blocks have dominated the design wall and table this year, and I wouldn't have it any other way. The fabric collection by @rileyblakedesigns @cinderberries challenged me to find unique cuts and rotations for each block, ensuring each block has its own feel while still coordinating with the rest.
