EVERYTHING STARTED WITH a war, an intense one. Monsters and Humans were fighting left and right, no one was at peace.

Loved ones ripped away from their families, partners, friends, all because of this horrible situation.

The monsters thought they had the upper hand, until an ambush happened late at night while they were getting ready to rest

All of them tried fighting, but alas it was no match. They had been outnumbered, they had lost.

Congratulating their victory, the humans banished them all to a city far, far away. Behind a huge wall, forgotten, to never have freedom again.

No matter how high, how strong, how low or how sorry, they were never heard. The monsters felt sorrow, greif, anger, hatred... and defeat, for they had realized it was no use, and could only continue as normal.

There were humans who’d watch over them from so high, with big guns and strong magic. The monsters couldn't overthrow them, they were too weak, but there was always a slim chance..

But such a possibility was a funny thought to everyone, they were scared of humans, they didn’t want to be even more hurt than they already are. They had food, water.. everything they needed to survive.

Slowly, human children started coming to this city because of various reasons; Dares, Questions, curiosity, lost friend, suicide.

They had all met the same fate, it was... unfortunate.

They all had different reasons when they waltzed in, all had the same reasons when they died by the hands of the monsters. The king would feel sorrow for these humans, as they were only children. But atlas, none could get close to the end, none could save monsters.

They couldn’t, just couldn’t.

.. when word got around that another human came to the city, they all thought they’d know the outcome.

Everyone was ready because, as pitiful as it may have seemed, none could trust humans.

Not after what happened, not after that war.
