Ok guys 👀 I fear I may have cooked

I STRONGLY APPOSE UNDERLUST AND THE CREATOR

But I WANTED TO REMAKE SANSES DESIGN BECAUSE HE IS VERY INACCURATE TO HOW PEOPLE PICTURE HIM

Like, I’m assuming in the beginning the two tried to lead from example… but sometimes… they just needed… something. To keep them through the day, a little pick me up. Not sure what Toriel’s would be, but Asgore’s would probably be on a spin of the golden flowers as a drug. Both quit once it was clear that Toriel was pregnant. Cold turkey. Toriel faired better, but Asgore… he struggled. He ended up hiding a stash in the house. Assuming it be out of curious hands. He just needed… it brought him comfort it was in the house, but he wasn’t partaking.

And when Asriel was born. It was easier. The monster had hope. That only grew stronger when Chara arrived… Until the two children accidentally found Asgore’s stash.

It wasn’t supposed to happen.

They didn’t know.

Asgore didn’t get sick… but Chara did.

They just…

They just wanted to feel good…

Not pretend…

But…

They took too much…

Events happen as usual, Toriel FULLY blames Asgore. And he blames himself… She’s disgusted when he turns back to the same vice that killed their children. Even when she struggles to stay sober in the wake of it all herself.
