You think so? It’s interesting, all the same and reflects the state of things, I guess. They can make the movie but promoting it is a different thing. And heh, my comment about being lead was mostly angry hyperbole, I know he is a lead, but not the lead. But there was more of him (and his viewpoint) than Sonam or Anil’s. Presumably they’re holding back her parts with the other girl and thus the full story?

@booasaur I don't necessarily follow Bollywod films but even when they released the teaser 6 months ago there was absolutely zero mention of a coming out story and then the full trailer dropped and we all clued in. I'm hoping that we don't get the female version of the song but it's like the sad version because I won't be able to take that.

Idk maybe I've just been living outside of that cultural bubble where I just except Bollywood to do an outright wlw film if they say they are going to do one. The spin seems more about the process of coming out. Who knows if there is some sort of resolution at the end of the film.

It’s definitely gonna be less about romance and more about the father-daughter relationship and I guess the friendship between Rajkumar’s character and Sonam’s as he...learns to accept she won’t ever be in love with him and then he helps her? The whole “unexpected romance” tagline and #letlovebe don’t make sense if it’s het, they just don’t.

anyway god i wish bakugou would go to a correctional facility. i dont think any of izuku’s teachers or the adults in his life (beyond inko) would be willing to push bakugou or any of izuku’s other bullies that far, though, given the reasons izuku is a target are societal (being autistic/quirkless) and we have evidence that suggests it was enabled by like, his middle school homeroom teacher at least.
