@asomics 3 walks this week, including one this morning. I want to GET VERY LOUD FOR KIDNEYS! I want remind everyone that almost 100,000 are waiting for a kidney on the transplant waiting list and we lost 13 people everyday as they wait. I am not an athlete or have I ever been one. I walk to request more people get tested and donate. I have lost too many family members and friends to PKD & ESRD. @asomics Over 7000 steps and 3 miles today! Uncle Jim is getting very Loud for Kidneys today! Please find someone who has posted a kidney transplant request on social media today and share it with your friends. It is small actions like that, that result in transplants, contribute to a friend or neighbor's kidney transplant fund, or make a video or kidney page on their behalf. Like you, I hope I live long enough to see the day when there is kidney transplant on demand or better yet kidney transplants are no longer needed. We lose 13 patients a day on that list, waiting for a kidney, waiting for their chance at life. We need to do all that we can to promote kidney donation/organ donation. If you can, contact your nearest transplant center and test. You can get along with one if your healthy, I was slowly dying with my 2 PKD kidneys before transplant. I want EVERYONE on that list to get their kidneys. I'll keep walking as long as I can until they do.
