What do you think of an AU where Uzi ends up inadvertantly adopting a human child, one that's been through a series of traumatic events? She finds the child, is aiming her gun at them, trying to urge herself to pull the trigger... but she just can't go through with it when she sees the mixture of fear and defeat on the kid, and before she even has time to think about it, she's gathered them up in her arms and is just carrying them off.
I RANDOMLY THOUGHT ABOUT THIS TODAY AND WENT "oh yea that was an inbox question.."
SO ANYWAYS
Uzi, after placing down her weapon of course, will become highly protective of this child as she remembers how neglectful Khan was and Nori being dead
She knows what this child may be experiencing, especially the fact this kid is surrounded by those that do not look like it; robots
Uzi would probably attempt to do that thing where a character tells someone or something to go away, but it doesn't and they are secretly thankful that it didn't
Uzi would refuse admitting that she cares for the child, but its very obvious she does
N would immediately be a father figure / a protective big brother for this kid and would sit and draw with them
V has wine aunt energy and N probably tried to ask V to babysit but Uzi denied it
We already know Uzi loves researching, so she would likely research on what a human needs to survive properly and teach the kid to fight
Switching between "I am going to show you how to commit arson" to "NOO DON'T TOUCH THAT-"
Thad would be the cool uncle and bring toys randomly while Lizzy insists on getting the kid some nice outfits instead of Uzi's "terrible taste in fashion"
Uzi might hesitate on letting her dad meet the kid, and if she did she would likely start comparing her trauma to the kid's and use herself as a good example of a parent
