Joined my relatives at the funeral street procession that passed by Jalan Loke Yew, Jalan Ah Peng and Jalan Chui Yin in Bentong town. The slow walk on foot at strolling pace following the hearse gave me the opportunity to see the town in an entirely new perspective. On foot and with time on my side I began to notice many features of the town that I was unaware of before when I was driving a car.
