In this ever-changing world

where change had to be your inevitable friend

where things, places and people

mostly are here today gone tomorrow

the good memories that are supposed to make you happy

ironically makes you sad too

the child you were before wanted to make the people ‘round him/ her happy

That same child who believes had been full of doubt and fears

changes that when not coped to the good way

can harm others and self as well

And without the Light Jesus and the supposed to be people leading to Him

there will be no choice but to get lost

Drastic changes can startle even the young minds

Seeing the people they look up to make the wrong choices and habits

Or break their trust and lose their respect

If not corrected will lead them exactly to doing the the same way or worse

The changes that frustrates

Somewhat like how on earth

Can the sweetest persons you ever knew

So soft spoken then suddenly speaking foul words out of bitterness and hurt

And you see without Jesus

Without knowing Him deep and personal

Anyone could lose their heart along the way

If you forget to ask Him from time to time to teach you to understand the many whys

Without knowing Him one wouldn’t know how deal with the different levels of hurts

That he/ she may encounter especially when the people whom one thought following Him

Are manifesting signs of bitterness too and can’t keep up with what they teach/had taught

And you cannot cling onto them without being infected by the pain/be frustrated about what is right

Looking up to Jesus

How He chose to suffer in place of our sins

The pain He must have felt when Barabbas was chosen over him to be set free by the people He’d done good and He has helped

How he chose to sacrifice

than to have a kingdom here to rule and the people to serve him perfectly good

His love for humanity didn’t change a bit

From his moment of birth up to his hour of death

Despite of all the changes

He and his unchanging love never fails

He never fails to give

He never fails to forgive

He never fails to believe

He never fails to love

Mostly happy memories are tainted images of love and comfort

that when those persons and places involved change

remembering the said memories makes one somehow sad

but the memories of Jesus sacrifice on the cross

though a picture of pain and suffering

is an image of love unchanging that somehow certainly makes one hopeful

because despite of you or me or the world changing
