October's 2015er of the month is someone who has not only left a significant Heelprint in Chapel Hill, but also halfway around the world. From his dedication to student groups and the Chapel Hill community to his travels as a Phillips Ambassador this past summer, Landon is sure to make an impact everywhere he goes. Perhaps his most impressive feature, according to his nominator, is his Carolina spirit. "He approaches everything he does with a passion to serve Carolina, and talking to him about it will make you fall in love with Carolina even more." 

This summer, Landon had the opportunity to travel to Hong Kong through the Phillips Ambassador program at UNC. There he interned at Father Financial, while also traveling to Beijing and other parts of China. One of the coolest things he got to do while abroad was do the world's tallest bungee jump at the Macau Tower, a height of 764 feet!

How did half of our undergraduate careers at Carolina go by so quickly? 

Not yet, you say, it cannot be! We have so much left to do, to learn, to experience!

So as to not miss another moment, take a look at the UNC Bucket List. Take your roommate's suggestion to "go to the Ackland sometime," and turn it to "Let's go to the Ackland this weekend." Sure, you've got two years left to paint up for a football game, but why not the first game this year? You've had your chance to get your toes wet in the Carolina blue water, and now it's time to take the plunge.

  Make the most of this second half, not putting off those things that you want to do. Seize every day, so that two years from now, after that time inevitably flies by, you can look back knowing that you didn't miss a single moment.

Carolina Class Representatives (Class Reps) are a group of students who create a united identity and enhance the Carolina experience for their specific class. This is done throughout the year by way of events that foster interaction, socialization and service.

The 2015 CCRs do all this, and more! We are looking for motivated individuals, who have a passion for Carolina and for helping the entire class of 2015 leave an important legacy at this university.

So, as we all settle back into home life and work schedules and finally come to the realization that we survived that crazy ride called freshman year, we as the Class of 2015 start to look forward. This summer, our class will be out doing amazing things, volunteering in needy countries, taking over Capitol Hill with internships, or getting ahead with summer coursework. As a part of our ongoing efforts to connect us all, the Class Representatives have created this blog to share the stories of all the incredible things the Class of 2015 is doing this summer and beyond!
