"I didn't say you could stop hugging me." @unbitt​

“You didn’t hmm?” He had just started to pull away from the embrace. But he had apparently not been given the okay to do. “You know, hugging is nice..” He does finally pull back just enough to look at her in the eyes. “But if we’re hugging then I can’t do this.” He brushed some of her hair out of her face.

A smile appeared as he finally got a full look at her. Why was she so damn pretty? Kind of made his brain go haywire. A guy who gave inspirational speeches on a battlefield turned into a dopey mess in front of her. “Or this.” He kissed her softly and slowly.

“Still want more hugs?”

“ it’s dark outside, and it’s raining. my arms are much safer. “ @unbitt​

It was true that it was dark outside and raining. Though, there was something comforting about the rain. When so much had changed over the years, the sound of the rain had stayed the same, even if it was a great deal louder now. His hearing pre serum had been awful. But now everything came in clear as day and he could hear better than most people. “I don’t doubt that they are.” The only downside to the outside during the rain is that it’s cold and it’s the type of cold that seeps inside a person, down the bones, that you can’t shake for a long time.

 It reminds him too much of the time in the ice and right after coming out. He had been unable to get warm for the longest time. It had been about twelve months he thought. His eyes turned to hers and they are just curled up on the couch, wrapped in each other, and there’s warmth in that. “I guess that means I need to stay.” There’s no guess about. He needs to stay here by the light of the fire which is illuminating their features. He’s questioning if he should make any moves at all. “I’ll stay.” It’s soft as he leans in and presses a gentle kiss to her lips.

      ❝ of course i did. you said it was important to you. ❞ and how could she ignore that ?? mj gestured to the fabric of the dress still in the blonde’s hands. she knew that it had upset the other when it ripped and if mj had the ability to fix it . . . why wouldn’t she ?? ❝ try it on. it should be good as new. ❞

      she should probably take that as a warning of some sort, but instead the words have her blushing and giving the other a smile. ❝ . . . you think i’m cute ?? ❞
