What he didn’t know was that Keith, even as a kit, was ever perceptive. He’d noticed that Thace was concentrating just a little too much and not paying him enough attention.
⏄ With one of his toys in hand, he stood (as best he could manage) and took wobbly steps the entire way to Thace. He remembers looking down and Keith offering up his toy to him. Learning to walk always seemed so simple to Thace, but his heart had swelled with pride when he saw his own kit standing in front of him.
