ship with: no one, really, idk - i mean, not in current comic or mcu canon. Scarlet Vision made sense in the past but the story’s played out. It’d feel cheap to have them get back together now. There’s too much pain involved, plus the story’s run its course. That doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy Wanda & Vizh in the past or in AUs or whatnot (in fact, I roleplayed it and it was glorious). I just don’t ship them.

friendship: huh. you know, I keep thinking about this but I can’t really think of anyone? Vision’s always stood apart. People either ignore him for his ‘creepiness’, take him for granted, or just generally seem to assume he doesn’t need human interaction. But I really like his interaction with Tony and Steve after he rebuild himself following Disassembled. Then there’s Hank, I guess, but even that’s more fucked up than ever. Thanks, Marvel (wouldn’t have it any other way)!

general opinions: I get why people find him creepy and/or boring but to me he’s one of the most interesting characters in the whole of the Marvelverse? But I’m all about android and robot tropes. I’ll never get tired of the whole ‘do androids dream of electric sheep’ thing. Plus, his whole look should be incredibly silly but somehow it isn’t? And it’s interesting to see how he basically was one of the most popular Marvel characters ever. I mean, he was huge! Like Vision or not, you just can’t deny it. There was a time when he was on every single cover of the Avengers. Maybe people can’t really get behind it now since in the 90s and early 2000s he was wilfully ignored and ended up badly mischaracterised and as wallpaper. So I’m incredibly glad Avengers 2 happened because look at my bby now. He’s everywhere! He has a creepy solo series that’s going to be so interesting! Lmao sry I could talk about this endlessly ...
