“ Ouma-kun...! ” 

Classes had just ended and it took Saihara a lot of determination to call out to the Ultimate Supreme Leader. Out of fear of being rejected due to one of the prankster’s whims, he had tried to mentally steel himself for a negative reaction during the last hour, but it hadn’t helped much with his nervousness. Grasping the hem of his hat and taking a deep breath, he crossed the distance between them and tried his best to seem more relaxed than he actually was.

“ Um... I know you said you’ll probably be busy, but... I was wondering if you’d like to have lunch together. I know you’ve already been asked this question a lot, but... ” 

Saihara swallowed and gathered all of his determination.

“ I didn’t get a chance to learn more about your organisation yet. Would you mind, ah, if I asked you a few questions? ” 

“They’re being groooooss, Mako-kun!”

                         “ ah,  o - ouma - kun ... ”

                          shuichi can’t help but let out a faint and nervous laugh.  he doesn’t trust the look his classmate is giving him at  all,  and he moves back a couple of steps out of instinct.

I’m outta romantic ships so have some friendship stuff

{ Akane and Kokichi has consistently been one of my favorite character -to -character interactions, so much so that I can’t point out one in particular in this case. They just have ??? really good chemistry?? Akane’s used to treating the entirety of HPA’s students as an extended family, so her playing pranks with the guy has always been so much fun. She often also gives some much needed affection in his life because of who she is.

 I will note though, I’m surprised I haven’t yet suggested a plot where Kokichi actually catches on to or calls out how much she lies…

Since even from this morning, it looked like it was going to rain: Shuichi brought his umbrella with him when he went to school. Now he was glad he did, considering how much it started to not only rain, but it was thundering, too.

He liked this kind of weather, but not as much when he needed to walk in it. Opening up his umbrella, Shuichi was going to head straight for the dorms since he didn’t need to stop anywhere else right now, nor did he really want to with the weather this bad.

As he was walking, he did see Kokichi curled up on the ground, but since it was from a distance: he couldn’t tell it was him, yet. “....?” Either way, he was going to walk a bit closer to see a clearer image of who it was since he’d find it odd and honestly worried about anyone being on the ground in such weather.

Once he got close enough and saw it was indeed him- “...!” That’s when he really makes his way over to him quickly, kneeling down to him and makes sure the umbrella is also covering him, too. “K-Kokichi? Are you okay?? What happened...?”

“Huh...? Oh, hey--what happened? Are you okay?”

          “I have to say...you are not what I expected...”

--    “ How are you feeling, Kokichi? Any better? “

Shuichi voice was soft as he walked close to his classmate, checking on whether his broken leg has healed or not. Well, he knew that bones do take time to heal, and he was hoping that there was a bit of improvement, or for Kokichi to at least feel a bit better. 

Aside from checking on him, he decided to bring in a panta, just in case he wanted some. Hopefully, that would cheer him up if he’s not feeling too well, at least, right?
