Since instagram really isn't good for artists anymore (especially with the new ai thing) guess ill be posting here :)

i've been doing a lot of experimenting art wise and im happy with how this looks, gonna try to do more stuff like this but a bit more polished hopefully :)

trying my best with side profiles but its such a struggleee

i have trouble redrawing the same characters so that their features look the same/are in the same position, let alone from the side view which i basically never do.

trying to get out of my comfort zone and learn important stuff while still finding a way to enjoy it (which is drawing ocs and no just diagrams i guess lol).

It's also kind of awkward to find a balance between realism and stylized characters - especially when it comes to eyes. Its hard to understand how a stylized character's eye shape would warp without references (realistic ones don't always give a good enough idea).

Anywayss here's my boy Leo, would love to make a wee comic about him one day when I learn anatomy well enough (and learn how to make 3d props/backgrounds to make my life easier lol)
