Ukitake is art teacher at junior high school, the type of most kind and chill teacher known to man. His other subject his english. He loves literature and is well known visitor in local public library. In school he takes care of school library and talks about literature with great enthusiasm. He also encourages his students to write. His classroom smells like pine forest and he’s known for his silky elf hair and tie-dye hoodies.
Kyoraku is sculptor. His atelier is covered in mud, empty bottles and drunk naked people. Ukitake tolerates his bullshit, but his niece Nanao doesn’t. She’d chase lazy drunkard around the place to force him clean up at least bit of that mess. Kyoraku never brushes his hair (even when he does it makes no difference), wears his old straw hat 24/7, is covered in hippie jewelry from flea market and wears clothes he stole from his female models.
Ukitake is the type who visits farmer’s market and zero waste grocery stores, Kyoraku the type who fells asleep drunk in the deer’s feeder. They’re different but they love each other, know each other for thousand years and are happily married.
