Tried sleeping earlier today and started having paranoia so I went to play twst and had an idea I'd like to share for book 7:
I've been trying to find a way to fit Annabella's dream in book 7 somehow, because in my canon Malleus is also very distressed because she slowly stopped answering his letters after he introduced her to Genevieve on book 5 (she thinks he's in love with Genevieve and that he regrets the kiss they shared, "where did she get that conclusion?", overthinking and miscommunication, she thinks she's the problem), and I really wanted her dream to be a tiny bit similar to Leona's (it's not THAT similar just one bit).
The dream is like, set in the future, where she's married with Malleus and he doesn't love her back. So he's distant and she's constantly suffering. But Malleus himself dislikes that dream once he sees it (cause he wanted to check on her) and personally changes it and the change is so drastic (from cold and distant to loving and caring, which is his reality, he knows she loves him and he loved her deeply) that she becomes LUCID and starts going NUTS until Silver, Gen and the others accidentally land on her dream right before they land on Idia's.
And I needed a plausible reason for that to happen. So I've decided that Lilia and Silver invite her to Lilia's farewell party because, aside from being Malleus's fiancée and Lilia loves a little drama, they are her friends and constantly worry of how she is also lonely (except Sebek who at this point already respects her but doesn't really like her yet).
Uhhhhhhh sorry this was long. Mallebella is important for me almost as important as Genidia (Blumrook also became deeply important) so I think a lot about big plots yk
Still need to decide how is Malleus going to be sure that she loves him while she is constantly wondering if he loves her back. Perhaps they are in the observatory he build for her and while she thinks he's dozing off she whispers it? But he listens???? Anyway
Malleus dear your fiancée needs verbal confirmation that you'll love her or else she'll simply think your letters, your flowers and the observatory you gave her (like the library scene from beauty and the beast) is not romantic at all---
