a world without marinette though.... she said she'd sacrifice herself and what would that do for adrien? knowing his girlfriend, while he was locked away and useless and a failure and unable to do anything for anyone, died? the sudden reveal that his girlfriend and friend all along had been his partner, ladybug, the one he couldn't save or assist or sacrifice himself for in the end?
and then he's back in that damn house, day after day, with gabriel and nathalie and yet he's more unhappy than ever.
