Any big events that happen throughout the year? Recent/upcoming events?
At the end of each year we have our annual night market where we sell popular Taiwanese snacks such as sausage, oden, minced pork rice, and wintermelon tea. Â We also have activities and performances throughout the night!
What do you wish to accomplish on your campus/What influence or effect would you like to have on people at your school?
Our goal as a club is to raise awareness and spread knowledge about Taiwanese culture. Â We also provide a supportive community to Taiwanese-American students at UCSB.Â
What are some of your favorite things about Taiwan/Taiwanese culture?
Some of our favorite things about Taiwan are 7-Eleven, the food of course, holidays such as the Mid Autumn Festival and the Lantern Festival, and the distinctively beautiful land of Taiwan itself!
