Pathetic, trapped, powerless, traumatized, completely at someone else's mercy, unable to fight back, in constant fear and fight-or-flight every second, and helpless to change or improve the situation he's stuck in no matter how hard he struggles with no help and no escape. Eternally stressed and panicked attempting to survive being hunted in an office just to do it all again as nothing changes. To Michael, existing as himself is the worst hell he can imagine
