truly thankful to everyone who took their time to chat with me to ask how i’m taking this all in, as well as to my friends and loved ones (you know who you are xoxo) who took time to help me in their own way. today was a whirlwind of emotions and i won’t lie, it would probably take a while for me to process all that has happened. in the meantime, i feel like writing a few thoughts down helps me reflect on this episode of my life, so here goes. it was a short but sweet ride. as an @uber power user, i was thrilled to take on a new challenge of building a function from the ground up, one that brings to life my passion for telling stories that build brand love. while it was an adventure that lasted for only more than half a year, i am thankful for so many things that made my time at my third global tech company a worthwhile one. month after month, i was able to build and scale consumer campaigns across the region, live up to the true startup spirit by maximizing available resources and most importantly, collaborate with a team of amazing rockstars who shared the same vision. it’s not everyday that people are given opportunities like this in their careers, and for what has come to pass, our small wins and big learnings, i am truly grateful. all day people have been checking in and asking me, what’s next? just like everything else unexpected thrown at me, i know that whatever’s bound to happen is part of this game called life. i’m taking full advantage of this (pseudo) #funemployment given to me as a time to reflect on my journey working with the world’s biggest names in tech and what i should do next. i’m definitely looking forward to the next chapter, whatever and wherever it may be—because just like every ride, there’s no way to go but onwards. #uberbelle #uberon #musings #lifeinPR
