BUT! Eve looks up to Neve too much, to the point of believing Neve could stop the dragon in Minrathous while she went to Treviso, but Neve can't do that and it creates this rift between them 😭

11. If someone was impersonating them, what would friends / family ask or do to tell the difference?

If I'm being honest Ann would not be able to tell lowkey. JUSTE, however, may test how "Espa" is reacting to 1. praise and 2. punishment because it's very obvious when they feel flattered and perk up and they're usually very good at the whole 'staying still and taking it' thing which I suppose would be hard to fake. Ciça would feel a little creeped out by it but might be able to identify it based on their responses to what usually triggers or comforts them and maybe make some questions about things they've done together or funny stories she's told them. Espa has a good memory and has made it very clear that they're keeping their meetings secret so if it's an impostor they DEFINITELY won't be know about them.

Sabre will pick it up by the little tells. He knows how they move and how to read them and also Espa has the very obvious nervous habit of biting their lip which anyone who's stayed even for a while with them will be able to know, even if he's the only one that's noticing its absence. Espa is the most tense or most calm around certain people and he'll be able to point that out, too. Yeah. No impersonator is getting past Sabre he knows her like he does the back of his hand.

Gisele would also pick up on it at some point I think ☝ She would NOT be able to tell you what's standing out for her she's just having a really odd and uncomfortable feeling. She doesn't know why but she knows that this isn't Espa.

I wrote this super super quickly but tysm!!

               “And Narvi—he was… I think… eight-hundred-and-fifty-three years old?”—Johnny let out a hum to show he was paying attention—"He and Vali had just had a fight. It… wasn’t pretty, and ended with Narvi quite literally setting his brother’s pants on fire.”

               Johnny was listening. He was, honestly! His cheek rested against the back of the orange couch they were sitting on, a small smile on his face as he listened to Sigyn talk about her sons. She was very… passionate about them.

               “Out of everyone, Narvi got along best with Fenris – Angerboda’s son – out of all people, or, well, creatures,” Sigyn went on to explain, “Even when Fenris was a pup – the size of a horse – Loki and I would find Narvi cuddling with him. Out of all people Loki has been with, Angerboda has been the kindest – to me, at least. Well… for a while. Until her son was imprisoned. Then things soured between us.”

               “Why did they imprison Fenris?” Johnny asked, not just to prove that he was listening but also out of genuine interest.

               “The Allfather feared letting him roam around would be dangerous, and he preferred to deal with him before he became a problem,” she continued, “But enough about that… I’ve been talking enough.”

               “No, no, tell me more,” he pleaded, putting a reassuring hand on her arm.

               Sigyn smiled softly and continued. “Fine… There was the time I powered a suit of armor?”

               “Really?” Johnny gushed.

               Red tinted Sigyn’s cheek. “Yes,” she confirmed, “Loki was stuck in… another realm, but his spirit could visit me. So, I powered a suit of armor for him to inhabit so he could reach Asgard.”

               “How’d you do it?”

               “I… don’t know how to explain. I simply… cast spells and they come true.”

                “Could you say that again?” Johnny asked.

                Sigyn raised an eyebrow. “Were you not listening?”

                “No I was,” he admitted, “I just like hearing your voice. You’re very passionate about magic.”

               She leaned in closer, a coy smirk on her face. “There’s other things I’m passionate about, as well.”

               Johnny met her gaze. “Oh? Do tell.”

I can admittedly only speak English, so it’s not something I tend to incorporate very often/not wanting to muddy anything with online translators dhdhdh. If I did try my hand at bilingual dialogue, I’d def ask a friend who speaks it/knows someone who does to help me out 😂💖

Pokemon!!! And with my precious 12yo gibberish 🐁💖
