John had never made a contingency plan for this, honestly. While he’d never considered himself a paragon of CONTROL, being this out of control with his… with his everything had never really crossed his mind. 

Well. It had. But he’d always assumed that he’d just kill himself if it happened, unable to deal with the enduring psychic pain that came with having no control over the volume or rate at which thoughts moved into his head, insistent of being heard. He had a pounding headache, and a somewhat-tenuous grip of reality ( and his will to live )…

Se he figured this was the perfect time to go see Tyson.  John found him easily enough –– after all, they were connected. Sitting across from the painfully-familiar face, John waited a moment. Oh, he knew that Tyson knew he was there, but there were some things that required a GATHERING OF STRENGTH to perform.
