When Tierney’s apartment door opened, Veda -- very reasonably -- expected Tierney to be the one behind it. Veda had a smile on her face, mouth curled around a sing-song hello for the woman. All of it stayed perfectly in place as the door swung open, that is, until Veda came face to face with one of her least favourite people. Tyson. Why did Tierney insist on rooming with Tyson, of all people? Veda sighed over-dramatically, expression falling. “Oh,” she said, unenthused. “Is Tierney here?” She asked, one brow quirking. Before giving Tyson room to respond, Veda, bitter as ever, asked: “don’t you have a job or something?”
