31. tell us about one of your characters who's an absolute joy to write.

i don't do a lot of writing with ocs anymore except for One... but i do love writing her, so sure, i can talk about hikaru :3

a while back someone i was rping with encouraged me to make a jujutsu kaisen oc because cringe is dead, so i said "what the hell" and i did, and now i think about her just a completely embarrassing amount. (cringe may be dead but that bitch got a feisty ghost.)

i do definitely have a Type when it comes to my lady ocs, and hikaru sano is no different, despite the fact that i actually tried really hard not to make her Just Another Mean Girl at first. i was like "she's gonna be standoffish and mysterious and funny but in a deadpan kind of way" -- not unlike jill @antique-romantic's oc shiori, actually, lmao. but then one thing led to another and hikaru, more than any character i've written in recent memory, took the fucking reins and let ME know what kind of character she was going to be. because, as it turns out, she's a feisty little thing. like, originally she was going to be ace, bc i tend to make my ocs ace, you know, For Projecting, but she said "nuh uh -- i am a serial dater and a breaker of hearts and a bratty bottom in the bedroom." she's the first oc i've made in a while who it felt like overnight just became Real, and i just love her to bits.

I was bored and thought this might be a nice little practice to get better. It was a lot of fun to do!^^ I love your comics, they’re always inspiring and nice to see on my dash so have this as a little thank you!^^

1. what is their most attractive external feature?

His baby blue eyes!

2. what is the most attractive part of their personality?

His kindness. He has this way of making you feel like you’re being heard, and people are absolutely in love with that. he’s a sweet boy.

3. what benefits come with being their friend?

Never a dull moment. He’s way too brave for his own good, so if you’re travelling with him, you’re gonna be in some wild situations. Dunwich building? Been there. Travelling the subway tunnels with GNR playing? Dumbass move, but he’s doing it. 

4. what parts of them do they like and dislike?

Bobby likes his brains, he’s very confident in his science skills. But he doesn’t like how his mind has no filters when he’s talking. That puts him in bad situations with people.
