Ooh these are deep ones! Here we go: 5. List 3 fears; one “surface level” fear, one “repressed” fear, and one “deep dark” fear.  14. Are they prone to outbursts (of violence, extreme emotion, etc)?  43. Do they wish that they could change their pasts? 

AVIRA

{5}  Surface: Darkspawn | Repressed: Inadequacy | Deep Dark: Corruption {14}  Somewhat. She is, admittedly, a fairly wrathful being, but that tends to be a colder, more calculating thing than a blinding rage. Even if she feels it that way, she won’t let it become an outburst.  {43}  She has a million things she would change, but finds dwelling on it unhelpful in keeping her moving forward. The guilt of the dead in her wake would drag her into the dirt.

KATSURO

{5}  Surface: Crowds | Repressed: Death | Deep Dark: The Unknowable {14}  Yes. It is very, very unusual, but when it does happen? It is bad. Usually driven by someone he cares deeply about making an utterly stupid, reckless, avoidable decision that might have gotten them killed (read: Avi, lol) {43}  No. He has made mistakes, and has learned from them. That is life. If he had made other mistakes, he would have learned other lessons from it, and there is really no way of no accounting for how that would change who he is now. And he has too many past experiences he cherishes to want to roll those dice, even if he could.

TYRANOS

{5}  Surface: Incarceration | Repressed: Pain | Deep Dark: Humiliation {14}  No. He is stoic and emotionally closed-off to a fault, to a point where people think he doesn’t care when he actually does. Very much. {43}  Yes. He is not here to be one of those ‘inspiring’ people who believes what he endured made him stronger. It didn’t. He’d have been stronger well-feed, well-clothed, living a life of dignity.

How easily does your muse fall in love? TYRANOS: not very easily. Love requires trust, and that is something he is learning to get more comfortable with slowly and cautiously over time. Not just with hairy problematic men, but ever since buying his freedom. And even then, bring a praesumptor means being surrounded by people you can only trust in some ways but not others, which is very different from loving someone wholeheartedly.

Does your muse usually take the lead in relationships? KATSURO: it’s hard to know what that means with him. Does he initiate and take take initiative? Definitely. But overall, he is highly deferential to the needs of his partner. He isn’t catering to them (Maleus-style lol), but he also isn’t asserting some certain way the relationship dynamic needs to be. He prefers it to feel like they are two autonomous individuals with equal agency.

What is your muse’s love language? AVIRA: Hah. She’s an odd duck. The short answer is that both in giving and receiving, Avi prefers to learn her partner’s love languages and work from there. Getting a gift from one person might be a meaningless placation, and from another, a very dear piece of their heart. Words can be empty, or they can be everything. So with someone like, say, Silver, hearing honest, straightforward words from him means the world to her. And given how precious his time is, him choosing to spend it with her makes her feel so valued and loved. If she existed in a vacuum I’d say acts of service, but physical touch and acts of service are NOT things that would hold meaning in this case.
