Does sleeping in when it rains count? If so, have a very low effort doodle of Katniss and Peeta doing exactly that!

As far as I know, the typewriter still works with the current update (and by that I mean that nobody has reached out to let me know that it's broken).

Between moving to a new apartment and having my C: drive fail on me, it took a lot longer for me to get my computer up and running, and by that point I had to spend a lot of time going through the broken/updated mods/cc lists that had accumulated.* Honestly I was starting to develop some anxiety about returning to making cc after spending that much time away, and I sort of avoided even launching the game for a while.

All that is to say that while I haven't specifically tested the typewriter since all the updates, it shouldn't break your game or anything. I am aware that it moves with the "mouse" animation, so I plan on updating it to fix that, and I will be re-testing everything else at the same time. I wish I could be more precise about when that will be, but just thinking about that typewriter still makes me anxious. I don't know how modders keep all their content up-to-date.

"Please Stop Haunting My Bakery" : A Request by Peeta Mellark

You turn off the oven when I turn my back,

you topple the spice jars and clatter the rack

of cooling pastries and lovely confections:

well, I'm sick and tired of your indiscretions!

What do you want to stop your haunt?

A plate of cookies, a fresh croissant,

an altar painted green with fondant,

or do you only want to see me gaunt

and clientless? Will you not rest until

you have brought ruin to my bakery?

If I seem brave or polite, it is fakery;

I will resort to hiring an exorcist. Still,

when night comes and I hear

your footfalls on faraway hills,

a forest's scent my room fills.

Plenty of interesting ideas to be found in the Legends' hanleia chidren—twins to mirror Leia&Luke, an attempt to redeem Anakin by giving his name to their youngest son, and most importantly for my tastes, a daughter. But for better or worse, I have not read anything of the EU comics. The Legends are just a fun archive to peruse (thanks to breeze wiki's version of Wookiepedia) and offers some fascinating details I sometimes use while writing (like playing on Jaina's name and that of prince Jonash e Solo for my OC for Han Solo's mom, Jai'nashe).

A reason Ben got hate might be that Legends fans were too attached to Jaina, Jacen and Anakin Solo, too angry at their favourites being removed from canon (anger I can empathise with—such a betrayal can ruin a whole franchise for fans!) and thus could only see Ben as an impostor.

(Side note: there were also fans finding Kylo Ren annoying bc he wasn't Dark Side enough, bc he wasn't as cool as Darth Vader etc. Personally I think they're missing the point of his character entirely, but that's another conversation).

For me, Ben Solo is the most reasonable culmination and evolution of the EU hanleia's children's traits—especially Anakin Solo's. (Not to mention that, let's be honest, hanleia's marriage would be too tumultuous to end up with three kids.) Legends Leia being too busy with her political duties and having parenting software installed in C3P0 (with mixed results) goes hand-in-hand with a very young Ben Solo nearly dying by a malfunctioning nanny droid. Anakin Solo idolising Han and bragging about being his son—so did Ben, who followed his father around everyone as a toddler, carrying his dice and proclaiming that he'd become the best pilot in the world just like him. (Until he grew disillusioned with him). Leia fearing Darth Vader's legacy and keeping it hidden from her children—and so when Ben did find out, he fell to the Dark, like a self-fullfilled prophecy.

In conclusion:

Peeta keeps his eyes on his bowl, trying not to react. The egg he had to split cracks unevenly, shell shards sinking in the batter.

He thinks of her hands tight around an otherworldly bow, the tip of her arrow aimed at his heart. And yet, it's not entirely fear that makes his heart race at the memory.

If Dathan Kenobi, son of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Satine Kryze, father of Rey Kenobi, lacking perhaps a strong connection to the Force but not his parents' other traits, if such a character existed, star wars and particularly the sequel trilogy could have been a lot more cohesive: a Kenobi trying to save a Skywalker, and either succeeding or getting corrupted too by the end. Even without Rey in the picture, it would've been nice to see more mentions of Satine (how a whole show set in Mandalore forgets her escapes me). Dathan Kenobi could've been a pilot, a diplomat, a Mandalorian commando, anything.

Unlike most fans, I didn't grow up with star wars. Of the prequels I knew a little from the memes and they were a fun time to watch with a friend. I'd found the main trilogy underwhelming upon first watch, and The Force Awakens seemed interesting enough to keep engaging with the sequels.
