lacuna : the neon signs blaring in your eyes at 3AM in an empty gas station. you may not be able to see in the present, but maybe you can see the future ? leather jackets and pointed sunglasses; relationships filled with loving insults and backhanded compliments. the type of person to ruin lives and smile in the aftermath - but through it all they’re still the most supportive person anyone knows
eunoia : the smile you give after getting the answer right in class; patterned socks and way too much chapstick; the strum of a ukulele and the whisper of a secret in the early hours of the morning; light pink lip gloss; daffodils; the type of person to endure a world of pain and just smile through it because they’re the definition of selfless
querencia : lying in bed at five am with sunlight streaming through pale purple curtains; the domestic feeling you get from a calm morning. golden eyes and snarky humor, singing like no one is listening - the whistle of a tea kettle; red lipstick and a hard demeanor but a soft heart; the type of person to be there for you from day one until the end, the amount of love in their heart as endless as the sea
alexithymia : headphones blaring at full volume; plaid jackets and sneakers; the laugh with the eye crinkles that would make even the devil smile; the feeling of an adventure in human form. teenage rebellion and stolen kisses - the feeling of unrequited love; overly dark humor - the type of person you fall for out of instinct, but they never fall back
