I’m fairly sure i was gonna have her cast a spell to like get an instant recap of what happened between justin and harper but what she saw was that they were actually super cute and a great couple together and she was the one being an asshole and messing things up between them bc she was too stuck up and didn’t want her best friend and brother dating. 

and eventually justin and harper got so tired of her antics that they decided to break up so that alex would stop being such an asshole and that they would still be able to hold onto their relationships with her (as a sibling and best friend) but they were still very much in love so it was a really sad breakup. 

and then alex saw that she was happy or whatever and she’d joke about the relationship with both justin and harper but both of them didn’t like that bc they still loved each other and harper stopped coming over just bc she couldn’t stand seeing justin it hurt/bothered her too much and then eventually both justin and harper stopped talking to alex bc she was too mean to them and she was hurting them and they were like ‘wow we could’ve just stayed together and cut alex out of our lives huh?’ but it was like too late by that point and they both knew she was volatile and could really fuck shit up for them if they got back together so all of them drifted apart. 

and then alex was just so confused as to why her brother and bff wouldn’t talk to her bc she didn’t know what she did wrong so she pretty much became depressed and stopped using magic bc she was so sad and all that jazz. 

and then when alex finishes the recap and sees that she was pretty much the cause of everyone’s troubles, she feels so guilty that she goes looking into like magic you should not do and finds a super complicated/risky time-reversal spell and even though she has barely any magic left in her, she casts the spell (which could kill her bc she’s almost drained of magic since she hasn’t used it in so long but she doesn’t care bc she’d rather herself die than have fucked up so many people’s lives). 

and then she ends up at the spot she was when she first discovered they were kissing and instead of being worried/annoyed this time she finds herself being genuinely happy for them and kind of lets them be and then when they end up telling everyone they’re a couple, they’re super worried about what alex will say but she’s really supportive and happy for them and it turns out to be an amazing thing and bond between all of them.
