21. most memorable comment/review?

The absolutely wonderful @plegdoctor made my absolute day, month and year back in October by leaving me comments on every single chapter of a fic I published almost five years ago, and I was so (good) overwhelmed I've still not managed to reply to her. And a bit that made me cackle was:

“Hi, act like you know me.”

Lae’zel’s thoughts were interrupted by the hushed voice, and the elf frantically jamming herself into the booth next to Lae’zel, shuffling in close, almost intrusively so.

“Who are you -?”

“Just play along,” she hissed back, licking her lips, eyes darting hurriedly back to the bar, and back to Lae’zel with a cry of delight - “Gods, Z'radi, how are you!”

“Ch'k, that is not my -”

But Lae’zel’s sentence was smothered by the hug from this elf - why was she hugging her, what istik idiocy was this?

“Please - a little slower -”

Dutifully, Lae’zel slowed her hands, two circles spiralling repeatedly in a rhythm that was still a bit too much. 

“Slower.”

And she did, and Lae’zel’s dexterity was paying off, pleasure starting to roll over Shadowheart, starting to clear her mind of everything that troubled her. 

Shadowheart didn’t need to think, didn’t need to exist in her thoughts, not when Lae’zel was touching her like this. She only needed this simple, primal thirst of her body, quenched thoroughly and warmly in the strong arms of a woman who pressed against her back, breathed murmured gith words into her ear that she didn’t need an interpreter for.
