JAYOON HISSED THROUGH his gritted teeth as he managed to catch up with him and pushed against the wall . It doesn’t sit well with Jayoon as he notices how happy Junseo is in meeting up . It weirded out Jayoon with his expression . He slams the male back on the rough wall concrete as Jayoon glares at him . He clenches his fingers against the male clothes , making sure the male doesn’t flee away in case his anger got the best of him . 

“ Fuck off , Junseo !” he curses at the male as his blood boils only at the mention of their supposedly friendship they have . He takes in a deep breath controlling his anger that could only rise up with this meeting . Jayoon if possible would like to avoid having to see anyone that becomes his past , and yet here he is before Junseo with their unsettled business . “ Oldest friend --- so does that mean you --- ” Jayoon scoffs at the nonsense twisted ideas of losing his money over Junseo's irrational thinking .

His other hand grabs locks of his hair , tugging on it as he whisper at Junseo’s ear . “ You bastard ! I trusted you , I fucking trust you ! And Junseo , you should have known better than to mess with me , Jayoon !” his anger spills out as he speaks on the other ear making sure his anger and words get through him . Jayoon takes out the small hidden baton underneath the back of his black shirt as he lets go of his hair . 

“ Now , money or no talk -- I need the money !” true , he needed the money for his medicine , if not these voices of people he killed during his job and his guilt  would haunt him at night . He needed the sleeping pills bought illegally from the black market even so he was a well known detective , yet he still had his connection intact from his undercover missions . “ Money…” he slams the baton right next to the wall beside Junseo face . “ I know you’re not that happy to see me , Junseo-ya ..” he calls the name affectionately before laughing full of sarcasm knowing how much both of them isn’t really fond of each other .

          HE GRAB A HOLD on Chihu arm for support , the throbbing pain on his abdomen didn’t stop as he slid down the door to his shared apartment . Jayoon wishes he didn’t wake his roommate but luck isn’t on his side when he sees the silhouette . And now , he needs to figure out ways to lie through this ; if only the stab wound on his left abdomen wouldn’t make it seem so obviously serious . He takes in a deep breath and it causes him to wince in pain but he looks up to Chihu as he tries to explain . “ I --- got stabbed while helping a cat. ” a reason which seems like an obvious lie but he added further to make it seem believable . No , not over his dead body he is revealing that he was only doing his late night undercover mission for the station in order to gain new information on the gang members only for it to end badly when someone got betrayed inside the group and sought revenge .

“ . . . can you please take the aid kit for me ? I’ll deal with this . .” Jayoon assures his roommate .

           AS DAYS PASSES BY the unsettled feeling inside of him only growing . Due to him finishing his recent mission of going undercover inside prison to gain information regarding the biggest exchange deal of drugs happening in one of the Seoul provinces , Jayoon is finally able to take a break and even was sent to the health care center to keep his mental health in check . Nobody knows what a human eye sees inside the prison and many come back wouldn’t have the same justice mind installed in their brain . Jayoon differs from others , instead he kept quiet after his release and followed all the rules . Though his demeanor does get a bit violent compared to before but he still doesn’t lose himself ; he was still Jung Jayoon .

Like any other day , today ended as normal as it could be . Jayoon walked from the center and decided to head back to his apartment and call it a day . He doesn’t feel like hanging out , the sooner he reaches his apartment the better ; so he takes the shortcut that saves him one hour walk to his apartment .

It requires him to enter the dark alley where seldomly people use because there have been many cases of robbery , sexual harassment and etc. But Jayoon is confident with his skills , so he walks in without much care , the deeper he walks he is quick to notice his footsteps aren't the only one echoing on the alley . There was someone else , it was his instinct at its peak . He fastened his stride and took an abrupt turn at the corner as he had his ears all focused to see if there’s any running footsteps .

“ I know you’re there , come out !”
