Yeonjun sits alone in the soft,green grass, his head full of wandering thoughts, mostly of the person who had been occupying his mind since the first time they spoke. His mood of the moment; melancholy. Sadness and happiness mixed together in a whirl within his mind as he tried to make sense of it all. He wanted, more than anything, for them to place their heart within his hands, trusting him not to break not only their heart, but their trust. 

But, until then, there he would remain; the immense and overflowing love he had for them flourishing, putting it into action when and if they felt comfortable.He knew his time would come one day to prove himself. He just didn’t know when.

Yeonjun feels tears running down his face as he sits, thinking just how far he’s come, how hard he’s worked. All those years watching his colleagues succeed before him, and thinking he’s never going to make it. But he did, all that hard work finally paid off. He’s so grateful and still in disbelief as he looks around him at the boys on the couch scrolling through social media on their phones, and some in the kitchen making snacks. This, this is the life he’s always wanted, now in his hands, an opportunity to prove himself, to prove how much he wants this. The weight off of his shoulders at last as he smiles widely, finally being able to say “I did it”.
