I’ve developed an odd sort of interest in these fish cleaning stations at the various state parks that we have visited in the past few months. I think it is a combination of their symmetry, their consistency of function and their local flair in design. I think I will be photographing more of these in the future. A view from our lunch spot in Tyler State Park. I usually get in my head a bit about a potential photo having to be quite good before I haul out the 8x10. This usually results in me never getting the camera out which is counterproductive because that often the main reason I am out that day. Across a cove in Tyler State Park. One thing we started in the fall was to visit our Texas State Parks. We are able to get to about a dozen within a reasonable amount of time and we can stay socially distant from people pretty easily. We made our first trip to Tyler State Park in October to get a look at some fall color.
