hey quick question, I know I’m only on season 3 of the x files but I went too far down into the “spoiler” zone and am v confused. so..what god awful thing was going to happen that made scully give up her child? and why is mulder only on half of season 8 and ONE EPISODE of season 9????? wtf? and how tf do they eventually end up “together” for the brief period they were? was it in season 7 in that hallway where mulder tried to kiss her? was that before or after they kissed for the new year? was a conversation never had about actually starting a relationship, they just vaguely hinted at it and that was that???? and how did the second movie come about? were they married or just living together? and even if they were just living together, was it happily because the only scenes I’ve come across are scully not wanting to alien hunt anymore but then they have that scene in the bed that’s sad but sweet. and why was mulder in an orange jumpsuit in prison all season? and why did scully only see him one time????? WHY ARE THERE GIFS OF SCULLY AND MULDER IN SEPARATE FANTASY SCENES WITH THEIR SON HOW AWFUL TO WATCH WITH MY OWN EYES AND I HAVENT EVEN GOTTEN TO THAT SEASON OR BEEN THROUGH THE REAL PAIN YET???? why would chris what’s his name bother to ever go on without gillian anderson that sir is a JOKE. oh and WHY is there a christmas episode with lily tomlin whom i adore but ends with mulder and scully bloody on the floor??? I’m assuming it’s some weird ghost shit but still concerned nonetheless. I’m just taking a shot in the dark here but are mulder and scully completely useless when it comes to communication? i feel like they’re that couple that’s never really said the i love you’s but feel that they show it best which is a sweet concept but sometimes a gal just wants to see her faves touching faces and admitting their love for one another ya kno. AND ANOTHER THING why tf are they estranged in season 10 and 11 but seemingly live together and sometimes cuddle? i mean just get it together you’ve been through so much shit!!!!!!!!! AND WHO IS EMILY.

i find “the field where i died” to be kind of an astoundingly bad episode in many ways but i have to say i’m strangely a fan of scully’s roles in mulder’s apparent past lives. like yeah obviously it is deeply weird to imply that someone besides scully is mulder’s soulmate because why else would they act like that. but at the same time, her showing up as his FATHER and his SERGEANT is so insane and somehow true. like yeah they ARE something so much worse and stranger and more multifaceted than just lovers. correct
