Or how the beast men react when you ask to touch their fluffy ears and tails.

Forewarned is forearmed, if you see the threat in the calm, almost bored words of the lion and his apparently relaxed demeanor; if not, it's up to you how to deal with what comes after you reach out your hand and caress his ears, or pinch his tail.

The answer is always the same, being you someone he cherishes and cares for, or a personal foe of his; but in the first case, with a lot of time and patience, and if you keep asking nicely here and there, maybe he will allow you a quick stroke on his ears. The tail is out of question, keep dreaming my dear.

An annoyed hiss the first time the prince feels your touch on him, and the ears twitch once in response; he then hardens his mouth in a straight line and makes a face of utter disgust as you have your way and explore every single inch of his soft auricles, then violently shakes his head and grabs your wrist, stopping your ministrations with a single glare. End of the fun for today.

... For today, yeah, because there will be many other occasions to satisfy your whim and tease him just the right amount to make him grumble and roar. The truth? Leona loves the gentle touch of your fingertips. He craves it, he dreams about it in his sleep, but at the same time it scares him how you make him weak.

Pride is stronger than his own desires, and he cannot give up just after a few strokes, not even for you.

... Or so he repeats himself more times he would like to. And every time he actually ends with his head on your lap, under your cuddles.

JACK HOWL

"... Hmm. And why should I allow that?"

Suspicious and cautious about your request, but in the end, not against the idea of it. Just respect the boundaries he puts up and be gentle when he gives up and accepts, Jack is not used to being touched on two of his most sensitive points and has to prepare himself for... whatever happens.

Soft growls of appreciation - damn, your touch is exquisite - when you follow the shape of his ears or slowly close the fingers on their tips, and gasps of surprise when you slightly tap on his fangs. But as soon as it comes to his tail, the good boyTM falls under the maddest, purest blush ever seen - especially when, somehow, it ends on your lap, wiggling and brushing against your skin, and you are the one in control.

Don't tell him his fur is so soft you could melt on the spot; he would be too flustered to keep his usual straight face. Your starry eyes and expression of pure bliss speaks for you anyway, and so the warmth that spreads in his chest at the sight.

From that moment on, if you keep being so kind, you gain yourself the privilege of sinking the fingers on his tail whenever you want and play with it to your heart's content. But don't expect Jack to say he absolutely loves it; even if his whole body screams otherwise, he won't.

Be patient and make yourself comfortable, the show is served.

RUGGIE BUCCHI

Wish granted as much as you bring all the food you can carry in exchange, simply like that; and the more you two get closer and closer, the less treats you need to convince Ruggie.

Our cute hyena will never deny how much he appreciates and likes your fingers on his ears, to the point he rubs the head against your arm whenever he wants attention and smiles in satisfaction the right moment you take sweet care of his auricles, leaning towards your touch. If you don't know hyenas can emit a sound similar to purring, well, now you have a chance to hear it happen. But be careful, he can bite! Playfully, only in safe spots like your arms and hands, and with his blue gems wide open on you, to lure you in the sweetest traps and bring you wherever he wants, confident enough to think he will win this.

You can always save yourself caressing his tail and commenting on how cute it is, and give another stroke. All of sudden, Ruggie starts babbling and turning as red as sunset, and he has to turn away his gaze with an annoyed face and the realization the tables are all turned now. But he called it upon himself with his own hands, so no use to complain!

FELLOW HONEST

Dramatic speech on how he's not your personal plush, grumbling about the nerve you have; then, he throws himself on your lap and gives you free access to his head and tail, daring you to judge him and to face the consequences.

Despite his words and pretending, Fellow quickly gets used to have your hands on his hair and ears or stroking and poking the soft tip of the fox tail, and even if at start he doesn't want to believe - and even less admit - it, your touch is so relaxing and tender at some point he takes advantage of your cuddles and attentions to unwind by completely abandoning himself to them, and grumbling, this time, whenever you stop (once a drama queen, always a drama queen).
