13th Floor
Our muses are in an elevator together when suddenly it shakes, stops abruptly, and the power begins to flicker. Send me “13th Floor” for a starter.
Honeydew didn't say much at first when two strange looking people entered the newly installed elevator of the Library. It was just an experimental little thing, but the only downside was that it was new and that scared most of the citizens of Bismark quite a bit. They thought it was unsafe. Honeydew thought it was practical, in all honesty.
He sighed a bit and continued to stare at the wall--
Clunk! Clank!
He jumped, startled, as the elevator shook and then stopped abruptly, leaving the lights flickering slowly. Great. He warily glanced around, eyes passing over the two strangers.
"This... isn't good. Fucking wonderful...!" He grumbled, mostly to himself.
P: May I take a flower.
You mean one of the flowers from my garden? I suppose so, as long as it’s not one from the magical section.
P: Let's fit a beach ball there.
“No.”
P: another smol batter
“Did you just call me small?”

@twoxblues started following you
Well, what have we here? Hm.
I suppose I must introduce myself. I am Japhet, the mighty firebird and Guardian of Zone 2. And you are?
P: Would you still accept my apologies?
“Are you...referring to that while ago?”
“I’m not mad or anything. I was wondering why you haven’t texted me.”
@twoxblues
Whatever brief silence that had befallen the dark corners of Zone Two, where they could be found in this very illuminated realm ruled by a so-called phoenix, was broken with a small harsh cough and the scrape of a match on the side of its matchbox.
The dim light flared bright in the dusty alcove of the mall. For a moment, Zacharie wondered if it was going to set the entire building on flames. That fear subsided, however, and he tossed the match into the small stove he had laid out in front of him.
The occasional urge for mendicancy was not rewarding when it came to terms of geography, though he could start to tell the difference between each individual file. World. Zone. Dimension. Colours. Slight adjustments to the rules. Different questions asked. He knew his original one, of course - the one where everything save for Zone 0 was greyed out, with the Judge moping about and his best friend’s rotting corpse in the cellar. Streaks of blood. Black goo. Everywhere. A stronger hint of death and anger and misery.
No wonder he ran and found a different one to try and do something with. Protect the child. But he always ran, in the end. Hopefully his final base was as sterile as it seemed.
This one zone looked familiar, but he couldn’t place it. It was the odd out-of-place photograph in the family album - it belonged there, but looked like it could have been taken at any time.
The kettle on the stove began to bubble slightly.
