Pediatric twofers aren't terrible. I don't really mind them. Threefers are a bit much. But adult twofers? Awful. It's never 2 relatively healthy adults. It's always 2 people who each take 15 medications coming for annual physicals together. They want to review their last 5 specialist visits, get Pap smears and testicular exams and labs and mammograms and colonoscopies and immunizations and get that weird mole cut off all in one 20 minute visit (30 if the scheduling gods have been generous that day). Rather than taking twice as long, it always takes 3-4 times as long. Why do I have time to write this rant at 2:25 on a Monday? Because my 2:00 and 2:15 twofer called at 2:15 to say they'd be 20 minutes late but they couldn't reschedule because they're both just dyyyyyinnnnnng.
