Train Stan
What if Ford decides to temporarily turn himself into a train in an attempt to better communicate
Ford has the kids all gather around in a clearing while Trainy rests and goes on about this spell he's eager to try, gets it all set up, and either becomes a tiny toy trains or just the locomotive part with no idea how to move and so just sits there while the kids twiddle their thumbs or ooh and aah at him.
Hour passes, spell wears off, and Ford stomps onto Trainy while the kids trail after. Badger him all the way to his office where he stops, turns around and says "trains can't talk" then slams the door while the lights flicker like crazy and the door does nothing to block the sound of the kids laughing at him.
Turns out trains can't talk with other trains, because they can't talk at all. Stan was sitting there anxiously thinking thoughts at Ford and getting worried, while Ford also thought thoughts and freaked out about not knowing how to move as a train with no rails.
