I know seems weird and counter-intuitive, but since Twitter has apparently followed through on its threat to extend the character limit to 280, I think I am done with it.

I already have a site that lets me post 280 characters (or more) with images, videos and links. It’s this one. So why do I need two sites. The whole point of Twitter was that it was short, sweet and quick. If something was bugging me (Trump, May, life) then I could just let go of my frustrations in a few words.

Plus you didn’t have to put up with endless streams of crap from other people as well. At most you would be limited to 140 characters of their nonsense.

But now - good lord.
